Yankees superstar Aaron Judge smashed a 462-foot first-inning home run to straightaway center on Tuesday night, making him the third-fastest player in MLB history to reach 100 career homers.
It’s taken Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge 371 games or 1,109 total days since his first home run to become the third-fastest player in Major League Baseball history to achieve 100 career long balls.
Only four days since teammate Gary Sanchez became the second-quickest in baseball history to reach the 100 homer mark (355 games), Judge has now homered in five of his last eight games — four of his last five and his latest dinger came off the bat at 114.1 MPH according to Statcast.

Getting hot at precisely the right time, that three-week slump is officially in Judge’s rearview mirror (.148 BA and .501 OPS in 21 games). In his past seven contests alone, Judge’s OPS is a robust 1.122 while driving in six runs.
Considering the fact that Judge missed 54 games this season due to a severe oblique strain and 50 games with a right wrist fracture in 2018, Judge could have been closer to 200 home runs by now.
