Yankees superstar Aaron Judge’s Pepsi commercial is here
As part of their latest year-long global campaign, Pepsi Generations, Pepsi has released their first nationwide commercial starring Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.
Just in time for the Yankees 2018 home opener, Pepsi has unveiled their first digital advertising spot featuring the reigning American League MVP, Aaron Judge.
Part of a year-long initiative, the “This is Pepsi” campaign celebrates Pepsi’s 120 years of continued success. Here, Judge not only gets to show off his baby-faced smile and nice-guy persona but impresses with his developing comedic skills.
As Judge sits in a New York pizzeria with friends, the pizza shop owner asks if his mother could speak with Judge.
Obviously, Judge happily takes the call only to be inundated with a request for a better year than last, which includes 80 home runs.
The 32-second commercial, which can be viewed on Pepsi’s YouTube channel, is just the start of a series of digital content ads that will be released throughout the baseball season.

“Judge For Yourself,” is another aggressive campaign, that focuses solely on the Yankees and Pepsi Zero Sugar — and will be shown exclusively in the northeastern part of the U.S.
If you’re in New York and surrounding cities, expect to see Judge’s mug on everything from billboards to a Yankee Stadium train, Pepsi Zero Sugar packaging and 300 other unique out of home marketing pieces.
First announced and reported on last November, Judge signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Pepsi as a national spokesman prior to winning just about every award a rookie ballplayer could.
Being the new face of baseball has certainly come with its fair share of endorsements, as Judge is now a pitchman for Fanatics, Adidas, Rawlings, MLB the Show 18 and of course, Pepsi.

Much like the latest iteration of the Yankees, the skies the limit when an already successful company adds a talent like Aaron Judge. As the 25-year-old superstar told Forbes:
“I’m so excited to be a part of the Pepsi sports family,” said Judge, last year’s American League Rookie of the Year. “Pepsi is so iconic and has been behind some of the most prominent moments across sports for many years. As I’ve said before, I grew up with Pepsi in my home, so this partnership is really special to me. This season I’ll be featured in the global Pepsi Generations program as well as an awesome new campaign, ‘Judge For Yourself,’ which highlights Pepsi Zero Sugar and myself all throughout New York.”
