AA- Trenton Thunder

Trenton lost two out of three to Portland then split a weekend series vs Binghamton. They are tied for second in the divison just 1.5 games behind Binghamton.

Player of the Week- Tony Renda

The acquisition from the Nationals had himself quite a week. Renda played in six games and collected two or more hits in every single one. He his hitting .382 in his last 10 games and has raised his average up to .281

Runner Up- Ali Castillo

Castillo had a three RBI game vs Binghamton and another mutli hit game against them. The Thunder have seen a lot of players promoted and so offense has been hard to come by.

Pitcher of the Week- Brady Lail

Lail is going to be among the list of players going up from AA to AAA very soon. On Saturday night, Lail tossed a complete game two-hit shutout. He’s 4-1 with a 1.91 ERA in his last 10 starts and has a WHIP this season of 1.09.

Runner Up- Caleb Smith

Smith got a hard luck no decision in Trenton’s 17 inning loss on Thursday. Smith went seven strong only giving up two hits and a run.
