The RailRiders won three of their four games played this week, improving their overall record to 51-45. They are currently just 0.5 game back of Rochester for the division lead.
Player of the Week: Cole Figueroa
Cole Figueroa has been on an absolute tear since the RailRiders resumed play after the All-Star Break, recorded a hit in each of their four games played. He’s recorded two two-hit performances and a three-hit performance. Figueroa is now hitting .326 with a .802 OPS through 81 games played in 2015 for the RailRiders.
Pitcher of the Week: Diego Moreno
Moreno had a solid outing this week, tossing 4.0 innings of shutout baseball against Louisville. He recorded two strikeouts and held the Louisville Bats hitless. His efforts resulted in a no decision, but Moreno is 3-0 with a 2.36 ERA this season with the RailRiders.
