Class A Advanced: Tampa Yankees

The Tampa Yankees went 4-3 this week, improving their overall record to 39-41.

Player of the Week: Dustin Fowler, 12, CF

Dustin Fowler reached base safely in four of his six games played this week and recorded two RBI and two stolen bases. In 12 games played with Tampa, Fowler is slashing .368/.429/.395 with a .823 OPS. If he keeps this up, Fowler will be promoted to Trenton in no time.

Pitcher of the Week: Cale Coshow, 56, P

Cale Coshow was called upon to pitch on the Fourth of July, and boy did he deliver. The right-hander tossed 6.0 scoreless innings, scattering just three hits while striking out seven and earning a win. It was Coshow’s second consecutive win, improving his overall record to 4-1 with a 1.49 ERA. Coshow is certainly an emerging pitching prospect to keep your eye on.
