AA: Trenton Thunder

The Thunder are on an absolute roll, winning their last four games and six of their last seven games played this week. They improved their overall record to 46-36 and hold a 3.0 game lead over the Reading Fighting Phils atop the Eastern Division.

Player of the Week: Ali Castillo, 13, SS

Ali Castillo certainly had himself a week, recording at least one hit in five of his seven games played this week. Castillo added three multi-hit performances along with four RBI and 1 walk this week, improving his average to .350 in 29 games played so far with Trenton.

Pitcher of the Week: Braidy Lail, 32, P

Brady Lail made two quality starts this week for the Thunder, including a win in which he tossed 6.1 innings of two run baseball, scattering three hits and three walks on Sunday against Reading. His other start was on June 30th, in which he earned a no-decision after tossing 6.0 innings of one run baseball while walking one and striking out four. Lail improved his Trenton record to 5-3 with a 2.43 ERA in 15 games started.
