Yankees’ News: Jorge Posada And Fart Jokes
Jorge Posada was one of the more reserved players in his time spent in pinstripes. The member of the legendary core-four always knew what to say, and more importantly what not to say. That goes a long way in the harsh limelight of the New York media. However, following his spectacular career Posada has recently released his book The Journey Home, which tells all.
In it he discussed his feelings towards his rival counter parts that were a part of the Boston Red Sox. He blamed Pedro Martinez for starting the infamous brawl that resulted in physical exchanges. Posada voiced his opinion on Martinez to Michael Kay during a recent interview and it was not pretty. Beyond his feelings for the Sox players, Posada tackled the hot topic of steroids and their place in the game. He went on the record stating that he doesn’t believe his former teammate Alex Rodriguez, and anyone else, should not be in the Hall of Fame if they tested positive.

TMZ sports took advantage of the situation and asked Posada the question that no one was thinking: “Did anybody pass gas in your face?”
In typical fashion Posada was a good sport about it and gave a great answer. “Uh, yes. More umpires than players,” he said, “But I returned the favor back.” While I appreciate Posada’s honest answer it was a bit of too much information.
