Yankees News: Individual Game Tickets To Hit The Market Next Week

Good news New York Yankees fans! The long-awaited off-season is almost over, as the magic number until the start of spring training has climbed down to eight. Even sweeter, we are getting closer to Opening Day, which means that individual game tickets for purchase have officially been announced.

Starting February 18th at 10 a.m., tickets will be available to the public to anyone who has a MasterCard. This is what is going to be called a pre-sale, and they can either be purchased online through yankees.com or yankeesbeisbol.com. If one wants to use the phone method and call Ticketmaster, that is also available as well. This will end on February 23rd around 10 p.m. The “MasterCard Preferred Pricing” program is also part of this sweet deal, as fans have the opportunity to save up to $15 per ticket in certain designated seats.

For non-MasterCard members, tickets will be available starting February 24th at 10 a.m. on both of the same sites. Ticketmaster is also available as well. The following day, the ticket office at Yankee Stadium will be open for customers, as well as the Ticketmaster outlets and all of the ticket offices that are located within the Yankees Clubhouse Shops.

There are many opportunities throughout the season that Yankees fans should keep in mind:

MasterCard $5 Games – If you have a MasterCard, you will love this offer. For just $5, MasterCard members have the opportunity to purchase tickets at select home games to sit in the Terrace Level, Bleachers, and Grandstand Level. Availability also plays a factor, but you will definitely be able to score some pretty nice seats. These tickets can be purchased the day before or even hours before.

Student Discounts – For all the broke high school or college students that wish to go to a Yankee game, but think it is too expensive, this could be your calling. On home games that fall on a Wednesday, these students can receive an extra ticket after the purchase of one ticket for half-price in certain parts of the stadium. You must have a valid ID showing that you are currently in high school or college, and these tickets can only be purchased the day of at Yankee Stadium Ticket Windows.

Kids Deal – Attending a Yankees game with the family is always a fun activity, and this deal makes it even sweeter. For fans that are 14-years old or younger that is with an adult who is at least 18-years old, they are able to receive half-price tickets in certain seats on a Saturday home game. These tickets also are only available for purchase the day of at the ticket windows.
