If you aren’t impressed by Judge’s imposing  6’7″ frame then perhaps his tremendous power will get your attention. Judge has been laying down the law in the Trenton lineup this season, hitting .330 with five home runs and a .906 OPS.

Tales of Judge’s dingers are being passed through social media like wild fire, creating a buzz around the young right fielder who was compared to Giancarlo Stanton by many MLB scouts. According to NJ .com, it isn’t only fans who have been wowed by Judge; he has also impressed Yankees legend Reggie Jackson.  Jackson, who knows a thing or two about hitting home runs, told the NY Post that he believes Judge is the “best player in the [Eastern League],’’ Adding that “[The opposition] is overmatched by him.’’

Judge is building on an already impressive resume  which he is hitting consistently for power.  Blasting four homers in this year’s Arizona Fall League and belting another 17 home runs in Low-A Charleston and High-A Tampa in 2014.

It is always exciting when a Yankees farm hand does well, but it may be extra special with that praise is heaped upon a young player with the reputation that Jackson carries.  Judge was drafted in the 2013 MLB amateur draft in the first round out of CSU Fresno.
