The last time the New York Yankees hosted Opening Day in the Bronx was Anthony Volpe's MLB debut to begin the 2023 season. They faced just as unorthodox an opponent that year, welcoming the San Francisco Giants to town in a move that must have been purposeful; MLB expected Aaron Judge to choose between the Giants and Yankees, and they were correct.

This time around, the Yankees will be facing off against the Milwaukee Brewers at 3:05 PM in a nationally televised ESPN game. The current Bronx forecast is for a high of 52 degrees on a sunny day, meaning that this might become an even more in-demand ticket as the week progresses.

If you're trying to catch Opening Day starter Carlos Rodón — and you wouldn't rather wait to see Nestor Cortes Jr. return to Yankee Stadium in Game 2 on Saturday — here's what the ticket situation is looking like ahead of the big day.

2025 Yankees Opening Day Ticket Prices: Cheapest, most expensive, and get in price to see Milwaukee Brewers

Cheapest Single-Game Ticket Available via Yankees: $78.40, plus a small processing fee, available in sections 407B and 432A. Yes, that's in the upper deck around both the left and right foul poles.

Best Bargain Ticket Available via Yankees: The Pinstripe Pass! Essentially the best deal in the borough, you can get a general admission pass to the stadium, plus your first beer (for 21+ customers) or soda/water covered, for $84. No seat is provided. This price will fluctuate for different games as the season goes on, but obviously will trend upward for high-demand contests. Would you rather stand in center field in a rabid group of Yankee fans/down the lines just behind the box seats, or would you prefer the highest possible/coldest possible seat behind the pole? The choice is yours.

Yankee Stadium Get-In Ticket Price on Secondary Market: After a thorough scouring/inexact scientific experiment involving StubHub, Seat Geek, and Gametime, it seems the cheapest tickets range around: $88 (SH), $81 (GT), or $72 (SG, but located very close to where the $78.40 tickets directly from the Yankees are plopped). All three apps informed me that I received a "great deal". I would disagree.

Our assessment? Head up to the Bronx, hang out at the Bronx Drafthouse or Billy's, and soak in the atmosphere without paying double to get in. Make Saturday's Nestor Game your first of the year.
