It's the final day of spring training, New York Yankees fans. The 2025 season is about to begin, but the Bombers have the Miami Marlins standing in their way before Opening Day on March 27 when they take on the Milwaukee Brewers.

Usually, fans would be like "hurry up and get on with it" but manager Aaron Boone gave us a preview of what the Opening Day lineup could look like with his Tuesday card. If we were to guess, there would only be one change come Thursday.

Will Warren will make the final spring start for the Yankees as he's projected to be the team's No. 5 starter heading north. Carlos Rodón will have the honor of kicking off the season in a couple of days, but the group of position players looks spot on.

The only (preferred?) alteration would be Aaron Judge starting in right field with Ben Rice at DH and Trent Grisham relegated to the bench. Otherwise, this is essentially what fans envisioned over the last week or so. And it looks like those injury concerns with Paul Goldschmidt are no longer!

Earlier this month, the leadoff spot very much felt up for grabs, with the discourse focusing on Austin Wells, Jazz Chisholm and Jasson Dominguez. Though Chisholm and Dominguez have heated up, Wells is the leading candidate after his absolute surge. He's hitting .372 with six homers, 12 RBI and a 1.263. Case closed.

The Yanks are still reportedly looking for a right-handed bat, presumably to log third base reps alongside Oswaldo Cabrera, who is more of a super utility option rather than the everyday man at the hot corner. Brian Cashman has continued adding to the pitching staff but it's been much harder to do so on the offensive front. A few guys have gotten released, so it's possible New York adds somebody in the next day or two.

Otherwise, this is pretty much it until the trade deadline. But who are we kidding? The Yankees never add at the trade deadline. At the very least, it's exciting this many young players are in the mix who could define the next era of Yankees baseball.
