Jacob Gaba

Jacob Gaba is a sophomore at Haverford College where he runs on the cross country and track teams. An intended history major, he also enjoys playing the guitar in his free time. Jacob has had a passion for baseball and the Yankees since he could talk and watches almost every game during the summer with his mom (who is the reason he is such a big Yankee fan). Jacob's favorite Yankee growing up was Derek Jeter, but he also greatly admires Lou Gehrig. Currently, Jacob's favorites are Masahiro Tanaka and Gleyber Torres. A fun fact about Jacob is that at his first Yankee game on Opening Day 2007, he got a foul ball off the bat of Derek Jeter! An aspiring baseball writer, Jacob hopes to add a young perspective to Yanks Go Yard and an understanding of where the game of baseball is headed today.
