Yankees ace Gerrit Cole shared an adorable family Christmas.

You’d be hard-pressed to pick a better landing spot, as a baby, than the household of Yankees ace Gerrit Cole and his wife Amy these days.

Fresh off the first year of a nine-year, record-setting deal, Gerrit just celebrated his first of many comfortable Christmases just outside a city in which he’s beloved. And baby Caden got a perfect introduction to the holiday himself.

In a photo spread posted by Mrs. Cole this weekend, Caden’s decked out in the maximum amount of Christmas swag, showing off the same beaming smile no matter what the activity.

Posed in his parents’ arms? Beaming. Ripping up wrapped presents? Yeah, same deal.

Just sort of…chilling under the tree, as babies do? Again, just happy to be here.

The youngest Cole certainly made this restrictive holiday unlike any other extra special for the new trio, and has been changing Gerrit and Amy’s lives ever since he was born at the tail end of June and announced on the fourth of July.

Though this season wasn’t your typical raucous baseball affair, Caden still got the chance to watch his dad deal a little bit — mostly from home, though.

He did make it to the playoffs in person, too, which is honestly all most of us want for 2021. Shockingly, this baby’s a year ahead of schedule.

Though all our holiday celebrations were more subdued this year, any family time certainly stood out, and this will doubtlessly be a “first Christmas” the Coles will never forget.

And one which Caden will never remember.

Don’t worry, kid. The next decade or so is going to be much more exciting. Hopefully, you’ll be thawing from a ticker tape parade for at least a few of these years.
