New York Yankees star Luis Severino and his wife went nautical in their latest photo shoot.
Luis Severino is currently sidelined following offseason Tommy John surgery (well, everyone’s sidelined, but that’s beside the point), and the Yankees righty has used the time off to show off his wild side.
Though Didi Gregorius has departed the clubhouse for Philly, Severino and his wife Rosmaly proved the Yanks won’t be lacking for passionate photography this season.
Sevy and Mrs. Sevy revealed on Sunday that they participated in a photo shoot with NYC photographer Jose Guerra, who got to live out his dream by trying all sorts of underwater tricks with the happy couple.
Guerra posted the above photo of Luis and Rosmaly sporting formal clothing in full embrace under clear blue water, thanking the Severinos in the caption for “trusting with this experience” and fulfilling a dream.
On Sunday, one day later, the Yankees hurler showed off more of Guerra’s work, showcasing his pregnant wife with a heartwarming caption, translated as, “A child takes nine months in the womb, three years in the arms, and a lifetime in the heart.”

It’s possible that no Yankee has made better use of what would otherwise have been a lonely and arduous rehabilitation process.
Instead, Severino has been able to isolate through these difficult months like many of us have been forced to, growing closer with his immediate family, and showing off his love through extremely unique means.
Whenever the firebreathing righty is able to return to the mound, the Yankees will have to hope his flames weren’t extinguished by this extended dip under water. Though he wasn’t fully right during his short cameo at the end of the 2019 season, Severino did whiff 17 in just 12 regular-season innings pitched with a 1.50 ERA.
Hopefully, midway through next season, Sevy will return to the mound in his truest and nastiest form.
