According to Hoch, Nova will now be available out of the bullpen for the Yankees. This decision comes after a string of shaky starts lately by the 28-year-old right-hander. Nova is 1-4 with a 9.23 ERA in his last five outings.
Hoch is also reporting that the Yankees will pitch Masahiro Tanaka, Michael Pineda and CC Sabathia during this weekend’s subway series with the New York Mets.
It looks like the Yankees rotation is beginning to take shape as the stretch run approaches.
