New York Yankees News: Mark Teixeira Set to Return Tonight

Great news Yankee fans!
After sitting out a whole week from fouling a fastball off his right knee, New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira is finally ready to return to action tonight against Dallas Keuchel and the Houston Astros.
The news was first reported by Jack Curry of the YES Network;
Teixeira is in the starting lineup today. Playing first and batting 4th.

This comes as no surprise, as Tex was almost used as a pinch hitter in last nights ballgame, but it wasn’t necessary thanks to a Carlos Beltran walk-off sacrifice fly that propelled the Yankees to a 1-0 victory in the bottom of the ninth.
Getting Teixeira back on track would he huge for the Yanks, who have tailed off a bit offensively in the last week or so. As designated-hitter Alex Rodriguez continues to slump, the Yankees will need every bit of Mark Teixeria and his 31 homers to solidify the middle of the Yankees batting order.
Tonights Yankees lineup will look like so;
Jacoby Ellsbury – CF
Chris Young – LF
Alex Rodriguez – DH
Mark Teixeira – 1B
Carlos Beltran – RF
Chase Headley – 3B
John Ryan Murphy – C
Didi Gregorius – SS
Brendan Ryan – 2B
RHP Ivan Nova
