Yankees Rumors: James Shields In Or Out?

So remember how we all thought the rumor mill was done and how we thought there wasn’t going to be any more conflicting reports on free agents. HA! Welcome back to December everyone. James Shields is out there and we have all talked about him in this space one way or another. So let’s see…are they in?

Yes! We’ll he could certainly help. Maybe they don’t think they can get Yoan Moncada? Or maybe both? Its like Christmas in February!

Yeah we are back in December again. The longer Shields stays out there, the more his price drops. With the way the Yankees are currently operating, this is good for them, because they won’t have to give him a five year $100 million type of deal that he may have been looking for earlier.

The Yanks have Chris Capuano and Ivan Nova looking to come back, but guys like CC Sabathia, Masahiro Tanaka and Michael Pineda all have various kinds of questions surrounding them.
