SINGLE A

High-A
The Tampa Yankees (63-63) lost to the Brevard County Manatees (64-57) 8-0.

The T-Yanks continue to hover around .500, one day rising above the level and the next day falling below it. Miguel Sulbaran, the young pitcher who came over from the Minnesota Twins for Eduardo Nunez earlier this season, was blown out of the sky. He kept things quite for the first two innings, but was shellacked for six runs in the third. The six run inning would end his night, as he also struck out and walked two while surrendering six hits and one long ball. The highlight of the evening for the pitching staff was first baseman/ outfielder Danny Oh coming in to pitch a scoreless ninth. Yep. it was that bad, folks!

Tampa’s offense wasn’t completely quiet as they were able to amass seven hits. They simply left too many runners stranded on the evening. Yankees Top 5 Prospect, right fielder Aaron Judge led the way with a 2-for-4 night. Judge has been struggling as of late as his High-A performance this season has not matched his astounding Low-A debut with the Charleston RiverDogs. Center fielder Mark Payton, short stop Cito Culver, third baseman Eric Jagielo, catcher Trent Garrison and Danny Oh all strung together one hit each for the T-Yanks.

Brady Lail gets the call Tuesday night. First pitch is 6:35 PM.
