The New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles will wrap up a three-game series on Wednesday night, but plenty of local fans in both municipalities may not be able to see it.
After a resounding 15-3 victory in Game 2 of the series on Tuesday, the Yankees will take their talents to Amazon Prime Video for a livestreamed game prior to an off day on Thursday and a chance to hit the reset button on May 1.
Carlos Carrasco will oppose Orioles left-hander Cade Povich in this one, and the Yankees — who watched Devin Williams squander a prime opportunity last Friday — can't really afford to waste another solid Carrasco start.
If you want to see how this one wraps up, you'll need a Prime membership; the broadcast in local Yankees territory begins at 6:00 p.m. ET ahead of a 6:35 first pitch.
Here's how to watch Yankees-Orioles on Amazon Prime Video Wednesday night
Everything fans need to know to catch tonight's game:
- Date: Wednesday, April 30, 2025
- Game Time: 6:35 PM ET
- Location: Baltimore, MD
- Stadium: Oriole Park at Camden Yards
- Local TV Channel: Not Available
- National TV Channel: Amazon Prime Video
- Live Stream: Amazon Prime Video
If you planned to watch the game at a bar, just know that it's far more likely that their televisions will be playing the NHL or NBA playoffs — or, God forbid, the (shudders) New York Mets.
Anyone planning to sign up for Prime should do so quickly. After all, you never know what you might miss if you squander the chance to watch the game's first few batters, as the Yankees proved Tuesday night by going back-to-back-to-back to open a game for the second time already this season. They're the first team in MLB history to accomplish that twice in a year — and they did it in the span of 30 games (tacking on another dinger from the fifth batter of the first inning for good measure).
Good luck explaining the game watch situation to your parents tonight, Yankees fans. If you thought this was annoying, just wait until they're on AppleTV+ on a Friday night.
