For all the folks out there convinced the New York Yankees are "running it back," you're about to get slapped in the face with straight facts. Even though it doesn't necessarily feel like it, the team witnessed a decent amount of turnover from last year into this one.

Though a good amount of it occurred before last season ended, the point still stands: the 2023 Yankees will be starting a new, fresh season with a different group of players ready to capture the ultimate goal. Seeing glimpses of some guys in 2022 doesn't count as being repetitive in 2023.

Fans will get to see full seasons of Harrison Bader and Oswaldo Cabrera. We can hope for the same from Oswald Peraza. Maybe we get Anthony Volpe, Jasson Dominguez and or Everson Pereira for a portion of the campaign, too.

Carlos Rodón joined the rotation. Tommy Kahnle is in the bullpen. Pending Ron Marinaccio's shin injury, we should get him for the long haul ,too.

As for the players who left the Yankees and will be elsewhere in 2023, here's the complete list so you can keep track of their progress now that the new balanced schedule should have the Yankees running into them more than they would have in previous years.
