Baseball fans cannot thank hot mics enough. They bring the best form of entertainment in the game (just think of the Terry Collins "a-- in the jackpot" video). New York Yankees fans got a nice taste of similar action on Tuesday night.

With the Miami Marlins in town, the Yanks are going for the series win after Monday's victory, when Alex Verdugo went 3-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in the 7-0 affair.

Less than 24 hours later, he put the Yanks on the board first in the top of the third inning with his first career homer at Yankee Stadium (as a member of the Yankees, of course). He got down on one knee after turning on a hanging curve, skying it into the seats right over the short porch -- just what the Stadium was designed for! Finally!

Verdugo then trotted the bases, relishing in the moment. When he reached the dugout, he was met with a sea of high-fives, daps, helmet taps and barks. Yes, the dawgs are out early tonight!

Then, as Verdugo reached the end of the celly line, he exclaimed something a 16-year-old might after an exciting moment with his friends: "Let's go f--kers!".

A few wardrobe adjustments and the guy is feeling himself. Verdugo's lighter on the chains but has maintained the sailor mouth. Some might call this immature (and maybe manager Aaron Boone doesn't like it), but a little silly youthful energy in the dugout garners the approval of most after the Yankees endured so many lifeless seasons.

On April, 9, 2024, Alex "Steve Stifler" Verdugo was born. Time will tell if the Yankees are better off for it, but if this guy's been in the organization since December, something tells us a lot of Yankees have been called "f--ker" and nobody's thrown a punch yet.

We'll sign off on that.
