Aaron Judge might've been far from delivering signature moments this postseason, but Yankees fans have to admit he's been doing his best to keep the team afloat. He's been putting the ball in play, trying to wake up a dead offense.
On Tuesday night, his efforts were rewarded. On an 0-2 count with two outs and two runners on base in the bottom of the fourth, Judge stood in the batter's box with his team down 6-3. The Blue Jays beat down Carlos Rodón early and it seemed like New York was left for dead.
But with one swing of the bat, Judge had Yankee Stadium erupting. He belted a three-run homer off the left field foul pole to tie the game in what's been his most electrifying postseason moment to date. The Stadium needed that one. Cathartic. Now let's play relaxed!

Aaron Judge lifts Yankees from the dead with epic homer after fans storm the field
Before that, many fans were wondering if the optics could get any worse for the Yankees. We guess it was possible. They could've gotten bounced by the Boston Red Sox in the Wild Card round. They could have collapsed and miss the playoffs entirely.
But the next worst thing is getting swept by your division rival on your home turf without putting up a fight. And that's the way this series is trending if Game 3 continued to spiral.
In case any of the online trolls needed more ammo to bury the Yankees and their fans the inning prior, two members of the crowd served up an opportunity on a silver platter. Play was disrupted when two fans ran onto the field in what felt like a booze-fueled act of desperation as they couldn't handle the product before their eyes.
One even made it onto the infield before getting mauled by security. But instead of an embarrassing moment ... it perhaps ignited what could be an incredible Yankees comeback?

A $250 ticket, four tall boys, and a painful early deficit will do this to a man. Little did these two buffoons know that they'd miss one of the best at-bats in recent Yankees playoff history. And if the Yankees win, it could be one of the most memorable games in recent playoff history.
They gotta at least have the radio call of the game in the depths of the stadium while they're apprehending unruly fans like this? As for the rest of us? The fans in attendance are dialed in. The folks at home have their TVs on full blast. Win the game, back the Blue Jays into a corner, and let's get back to Toronto for Game 5.
