It kind of feels like the New York Yankees have forgot how to lose. Even on Thursday night when they blew a 6-0 lead — a game they absolutely would’ve lost earlier in the season — they overcame adversity to keep their winning streak alive.

On Friday night, however, Yankees fans were finally able to sit back and enjoy a comfortable 8-2 victory in Oakland…where they’ve enjoyed very little success in recent seasons.

Gerrit Cole didn’t have his best stuff, but still managed to throw six shutout innings, while Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Luke Voit and Kyle Higashioka all went yard to provide more than enough run support.

The Yankees will look to make it 14 (!) in a row on Saturday, so let’s see what the oddsmakers are saying about their chances to do so.
