Yes, the Yankees’ offseason has taken such a boring turn that Adam and Thomas had to pop off this week about the Giants’ ignominious fate.

Monday brought a new episode of the Yanks Go Yard Podcast featuring eight minutes of ripping Doug Pederson and the Philadelphia Eagles for their embarrassing display on Sunday Night Football, which has ruined 2021 for New Yorkers already.

Meanwhile, DJ LeMahieu continues to flirt with the Dodgers, the one team that can legitimately outbid the Yankees for his services. Do we really believe the Yanks have a plan if DJ leaves? Will they spend for a shortstop, or is this just fantasy?

Unfortunately, we also had to face reality this week and admit that Gary Sanchez wasn’t good in the Dominican Winter League while we weren’t looking, and Masahiro Tanaka isn’t “Yankees or Bust” after all.
