Did Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman poop his pants vs Orioles on Saturday?

Yankees manager Aaron Boone had some funny comments on Aroldis Chapman Saturday.

As Billy Madison once said, “If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis.” But what about pooping your pants? After all, that’s more of an “adult” thing to do by mistake. Nobody accidentally pees themselves after the age of nine (ish?).

Let’s ask New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone! His closer, Aroldis Chapman, came on to pitch during a 1-1 game against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday and seemed to come up hobbling after retiring a batter. Boone and a couple of assistants ran out to the mound to check on him right when it happened. Oh no, is this ANOTHER Yankees injury?

Nope! It just seems like Chapman was on the verge of pooping himself (or fully did!), based on Boone’s postgame comments. The hesitation here has us thinking he truly might have.

Man, what a situation for Yankees beat writer Bryan Hoch to be put in. The poor guy was just asking if Chapman was OK and instead he’s strategically asking follow-ups regarding a situation in which a grown man possibly almost did number two in his pants during a professional baseball game.

Poop or not, Chapman finished the inning clean (though we can’t say the same about his pants) with a fly out and two strikeouts. He powered through and the Yankees secured the 2-1 walk-off victory in extra innings.

Whatever the case, Boone’s comedic open-for-interpretation response will leave us wondering if there was such a tragic accident on the mound at Yankee Stadium on Saturday. Someone might have to get into contact with the Yankees’ equipment manager or whoever takes care of the players’ laundry.

If there’s a pair of pants with heavy brown stains, you know who to call. This story cannot be buried. It deserves national attention.
