The New York Yankees schedule for 2021 has a few dates against the Houston Astros.

Yankees fans feeling alienated and isolated without their beloved ballpark in the Bronx this summer now have a new focal point, as the 2021 MLB schedule has been released.

Will all the games be played as normal, with full capacity or something close to it? Eh, here’s hoping, but we suspect the league didn’t schedule any Yankees-Red Sox games before June because they…had their doubts.

That being said, we’re here to answer every fan’s burning question about 2020: Yeah, cool, got it, so when can we boo the Houston Astros?!

Have no fear, New York. We’ve got you.

You’d better cross your fingers and hope for an ideal execution of MLB’s plan, because the Astros are set to come to the big ballpark in the Bronx on May 4-6 for a three-game set. If you’re willing to risk life and limb, the Yankees also travel to Houston for a road series just before the All-Star Break on July 9-11.

But what about Houston’s other dates in the neighborhood? One three-game set isn’t enough booing, after all. Not after saving up our collective lung capacity for 18 months.

The Astros visit the Red Sox June 8-10, if you can hold your nose through the Boston stench and scream at the same time. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, they’re in Toronto June 4-6, and will also travel to Baltimore and Detroit June 21-27.

While we’re all still depressed about losing an Astros trip to Citi Field in 2020 which apparently won’t be made up in ’21, these long blocks in unfriendly territory will have to do.

Houston got the reprieve of all reprieves this season, playing the Dodgers during the 60-game sprint without fans in the stands and without brawls in the 2020 vocabulary. But rest assured, people don’t forget. We’re going to bed each night crossing our fingers and toes that we get the chance to rain pain down upon these cheaters in 2021.
