Recent New York Yankees news this week focused on the possibility of finding a way to get back on the field for 2020.

While MLB is trying to come up with a plan for the rest of 2020, which has been a big part of Yankees news of late, it is also a time for analysis into our favorite pinstripers.

Analyzing and speculating about the future of the Yankees puts everyone in the mood for baseball, and there has been quite a bit of it over the past few days.

Players who might have missed the first month or two of the season might be healthy if the season can somehow start by June 1. The Yankees, as well as all other teams, are also trying to evaluate their rosters beyond this season if play doesn’t resume at some point.

Giancarlo Stanton, DJ LeMathieu, Gerrit Cole , and Gio Urshela were all topics of discussion this week.
