The Yankees took all of the allotted time to unveil their 25-man roster for the best 3-out-of-5 ALDS versus the Minnesota Twins; however, there were no real surprises.

Counting down the hours to the first pitch of the ALDS as the Yankees take on the Twins, we’ve finally received word as to the 25 men that will make up the Yanks’ roster.

Although manager Aaron Boone announced his starting rotation on Thursday (James Paxton, Masahiro Tanaka and Luis Severino will take the mound in Games 1 through 3), there were still a few bullpen and positional wrinkles to be ironed out.

We now know that the Bombers will carry 12 pitchers in total. With C.C. Sabathia unable to go in the first round of the playoffs due to a left shoulder issue, Boone decided to add late-season acquisition Tyler Lyons over Stephen Tarpley as the extra left-hander out of the ‘pen.

Should the series extend past Game 3, the possibility does remain that J.A. Happ could get a start. However, that will likely depend on the effectiveness of the Yankees first three starters — and if Happ is needed in relief.

Due to Domingo German being placed on administrative leave for an ongoing investigation into potential domestic abuse, the talented, albeit unproved Jonathan Loaisiga will act as a right-handed long-reliever, alongside Luis Cessa.

The rest of the stoic pitching staff rounds out with Chad Green, Tommy Kahnle, Adam Ottavino, Zack Britton and Aroldis Chapman.

As for position players, the Yanks will go with 13 of them, including slugger Edwin Encarnacion who was originally considered a question mark after suffering a left oblique strain on Sept. 12.

Encarnacion’s inclusion meant that only one of Luke Voit or Mike Ford would get the nod for the ALDS. And despite Voit hitting just .167 with two home runs, seven RBIs and 15 strikeouts in his last 48 at-bats (15 games), he makes the team and Ford does not.

Cameron Maybin will fill the fourth outfielder role — unless of course, Boone decides to DH Giancarlo Stanton. Then we should fully expect to see the 12-year veteran in left field.

Tyler Wade will be the Yanks’ super utility man, late-inning defensive replacement and pinch-runner extraordinaire. Wade brings a much-needed dimension of speed and aggressiveness that will undoubtedly come in handy during the postseason.

The rest of the roster looks as it did for the vast majority of the regular-season. Gary Sanchez and Austin Romine are the catchers. D.J. LeMahieu, Gleyber Torres, Didi Gregorius and Gio Urshela will play the infield. And Aaron Judge, Brett Gardner and Stanton can be found in the outfield.
