Beltran Injured, Yankees Fall to Rangers
Carlos Beltran was forced to leave the game early Tuesday, while Cole Hamels tossed seven shutout innings in a 7-1 victory for the Texas Rangers (51-27) over the New York Yankees (37-39) at Yankee Stadium.
Beltran exited the game in the bottom of the first inning with a tight right hamstring, according to Jack Curry of the YES Network.

Texas scored five runs in the top of the eighth inning to break the game open.
Five different Rangers each had an RBI in the frame, including Adrian Beltre, Prince Fielder, Nomar Mazara, Rougned Odor and Jurickson Profar.
CC Sabathia had only surrendered a two-run home run to Beltre in the top of the first inning before running into trouble in the top of the eighth inning.
The southpaw gave up six runs on eight hits over seven-plus innings and was tagged with the loss.
Sabathia is now 5-5 this season.
