A- Charleston

Charleston went 2-5 this week and find themselves dead last in their division.

Hitter of the week- Jorge Mateo

Get this kid to Tampa already. Mateo is one of the untouchable four prospects the Yankees have and Mateo is crushing it right now. He’s had at least one hit in nine straight games, hitting .364 and stealing 10 bases. He’s stolen 68 in 89 games.

Runner Up- Isaias Tejeda

Tejada picked up three mutli-hit games for Charleston. Tejeda is also raking over his last 10, hitting .351 during that time.

Pitcher of The Week- Matt Wotherspoon

Wotherspoon was the lone starter to pick up a win for Charleston this week. He went six innings, giving up two runs and striking out nine. He now has 70 k’s in 68 innings.

Runner Up- Andre Del Bosque

Del Bosque pitched 3.1 shutout innings of relief this week. He walked three but he struck out four as he continues to find his way in the River Dog bullpen
