AA- Trenton Thunder
Trenton went 3-4 this week but still find themselves first in the division with a 1.5 game lead.
Hitter of the Week- Tony Renda
Renda may be struggling with the glove but he’s been cooking with the bat. Renda has three straight multi-hit games and has brought his average for the season over .270
Runner Up- Ali Castillo
Castillo has found himself going back and forth between AA and AAA this season, but continues to hit. Castillo had a hit in every game this week and now has a .341 average this season.
Pitcher of the The Week- Brady Lail
Lail continues to pitch excellent ball for AA Trenton, picking up another win this week going 7.2 shutout innings, giving up just three hits and striking out three. He’s now 5-3 with a 2.21 ERA with a 1.15 WHIP
Runner Up- Eric Ruth
Ruth continues to pitch well, but wasn’t helped by his defense in his start. He gave up two unearned runs over seven innings. With Trenton, he’s now 6-2 with a 1.89 ERA.
