OF- Ramon Flores

One of the guys Williams will have to jump past on the depth chart is Ramon Flores, who is also on the 40-man roster. If an outfielder gets hurt, Flores will probably be the next man up to get his shot. He may not be a guy who starts at the major league level, but there’s no reason to think he couldn’t contribute in some way.

Flores is hitting .281/.370/.430 with four homers and 12 RBI so far in Scranton. He’s also just 23 years old which helps his case as well.

Flores battled injury last season but impressed during winter ball and during Spring Training. With lefty bats you never know how they will play at Yankee Stadium either.

Will all five of these guys make it? No. Will any of these five contribute to the Yankees this season? I can see it. It’s not about the top prospects. It’s about other guys who can at least help at the major league level.
