Prospects give the fan base hope for the future. For the New York Yankees, the farm system is finally starting to produce some prospects. We all know about Aaron Judge, Gregory Bird, Luis Severino. What about other guys? What about guys who may actually be closer to being a part of the team? What about guys who may not be at the level that Judge and Severino are.

It’s not always the guys in the Baseball America top 100 that turn out to be superstars. Some of those guys turn out to be failures. It’s not always about the high first round picks either.  For every Derek Jeter, there’s a Brian Taylor.

Injuries are going to happen and the Yankees are going to have to dip into their system to help alleviate that. These guys could end up on the big league squad sooner rather than later. As the season progresses, players are going to move up and down throughout the system.
