Here, at Yanks Go Yard, we have kept the focus mainly on the Arizona Fall League as Greg Bird, Aaron Judge, and Tyler Austin are off to great starts down in the desert. Plus, Dante Bichette Jr. started to find his groove on Friday when he recorded two hits in a 2-1 loss with the Scottsdale Scorpions. On the mound, the Yankees have three relief pitchers in Arizona. Kyle Haynes has a 2.70 ERA in five relief appearances, but Caleb Cotham and Alex Smith have not fared as well as Haynes has.

While the attention is on Arizona for some of the top prospects, there has been other Winter League action happening around the world for some of these young Yankees’ players looking to gain some momentum for 2015. All in all, New York has 14 players playing baseball in either Venezuela or Mexico. This includes Jose Pirela, who has two home runs and three RBI’s in his first three games of Winter ball in Venezuela, which has seen him get some playing time in right field.

More from Yankees Minor Leagues

Here are a few players that have stood out so far in the Winter Leagues that are not in Arizona.
