Staten Island Yankees (30-30) lose to Tri-City ValleyCats (41-20) 5-2
Staten Island couldn’t keep up with Tri-City, as they drop the first game of the series. The ValleyCats scored a run in both the first and second, but the Yankees were able to come back in the bottom of the second and tie it up. From then on, Tri-City tacked on three runs, and had full control of the game.
Jordan Foley took the loss, as he pitched 2.2 innings, and gave up one run on three hits. Austin Aune went 1-for-4, and scored one of the two runs.
