Friday wasn’t too eventful of a night for the Baby Bombers, as some of the bats went quiet in a couple of the contests. Overall, the youngins were able to put up a mediocre record of 2-3 on the evening.

The consensus of the games were a lot of them were really close games, which was decided by the offense or impressive pitching. The RailRiders was a team that stood out, as they received phenomenal pitching from the familiar Bryan Mitchell that Yankees fans have gotten to know. Mitchell is definitely making a statement in Triple-A, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he gets that call from the Yankees sometime soon, as they are still trying to make that push to the playoffs.

Other teams just flat out couldn’t maintain their leads. As soon as they would put a run or two on the board, it seemed like the other team would respond and re-take the lead by adding a few more runs. They couldn’t catch up, but there is always room to bounce back in their next games. Here are the game recaps from around the farm system.
