Following another 4-1 victory over the O’s, the Yanks will go for a sweep of the birds on Wednesday afternoon.
On Tuesday, Yanks got 7 1/3 great innings from AJ (5H, 1 unearned R, 8K, 2BB), three hits and some great D from Frankie Cervelli and two RBI from Ramiro Pena. Despite going 0-for-10 with RISP, the Yanks won their third straight and sixth in seven tries..all without much help from Tex and A-Rod, who are hitting .175 and .253 respectively. Imagine what happens when those two heat up. Swish Dog cooled off a bit (0-for-4) but Cano finagled a pair of hits and is now hitting .376.
AJ is now off to the best start of his career and (furiously knocking on wood) shows no signs of slowing down.

CHoP should start throwing off a half mound on Thursday and could, potentially, be back in time for next weekend’s series against the Twinkies.
