As Day 3 of the Winter Meetings is now here, what news will break from San Diego? Earlier this morning, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports and MLB Network reported that the Chicago Cubs reached a deal with free agent pitcher Jon Lester. Yahoo Sports’ Jeff Passan had the details on the deal:

5:32 PM ET: Now with Lester out, Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe tweets that a Phillies’ official thinks Boston will intensify their interest in Cole Hamels:

5:17 PM ET: Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports and MLB Network has more on the Rollins deal, including a third team maybe  in the trade:

5:09 PM ET: According to Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia , a deal is done between the Phillies and Dodgers in which LA is acquiring Jimmy Rollins:

  5:05 PM ET: Bob Nightengale of USA Today has a conflicting report to the prior one by Morosi about the Red Sox being close on a deal with Miley. He also says the Miami Marlins could be in the running as well:

4:47 PM ET: Sounds like the Boston Red Sox could be adding another pitcher to their rotation via a trade. Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports and MLB Network tweets that the team is close to a deal with the Diamondbacks involving starter Wade Miley:

4:33 PM ET: Could Phil Coke be playing baseball in New York this season, but in a different borough? Jon Paul Morosi of Fox Sports and MLB Network has the latest:

4:03 PM ET: According to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports and MLB Network, the Phillies are talking with the Dodgers involving Jimmy Rollins:

3:40 PM ET: Another trade could happen with the Arizona Diamondbacks. This time, it involves starting pitcher Wade Miley. Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports tweeted this:

3:37 PM ET: The San Francisco Giants are looking for starting pitching. I mentioned Cole Hamels earlier, but today, the Giants are also meeting with another free agent starting pitcher according to ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick:

3:05 PM ET: After signing Lester, could the Cubs be looking at another power bat in the outfield? According to ESPN’s Buster Olney, Justin Upton could possibly have a change of heart about playing in the Windy City:

  2:55 PM ET: Could Yoenis Cespedes be playing for a different team in the AL East in 2015? Rob Bradford of WEEI tweets that the Orioles are interested in trading Cespedes to help their outfield:
