Now that the Thanksgiving turkey has come, it seems that New York Yankees fans always have a lot to be thankful for. Here are some of the ones that will top our list as we sit around the table this time next year.

1. Everyone stayed healthy. There were no major injuries in 2015.

2. Masahiro Tanaka won the Cy Young Award.

3.CC Sabathia returned to form en route to a 20 win season.

4. Brett Gardner and Jacoby Ellsbury finished first and second in the stolen base race.

5.Mark Teixeira healed up and hit 40 home runs with 125 RBI.

6.Brian McCann picked up where he left off at the end of 2014.

7.Michael Pineda paid big dividends by making 30 starts and reaching his potential.

8.The Yankees won the American League East.

9.The Yankees won the American League Pennant.

10.The Yankees won the World Series.

So print it out and put it up on your refrigerator. That´s what we´ll be talking about around the Thanksgiving table next year. Don´t pay any attention to those who may doubt it. They probably don´t believe in Santa Claus either.
