Thursday nights games down on the New York Yankees farm were not for the feint of heart. Four of the games were nail biters right down to the last inning. Aside from the performance from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the pitching was on point for the Baby Bombers across the board.

The bats left a little bit to be desired. The Yankees only came through with four home runs on the evening. Two of them came off the bat of the Staten Island Yankees stud outfielder Chris Breen. The hits were scarce, but most of the affiliates made them count.

That being said, the farm came out ahead Thursday night. The teams racked up five wins and lost three. Way down on the farm the Staten Island Yankees keep picking up wins and turning around their season that seemed to be slipping away. The Gulf Coast Baby Bombers are still the kings of the GCL.

Here’s the high and lowlights in today’s Yankees MiLB Roundup.
