More Trade Rumors: Is Jorge De La Rosa Next?

ESPN’s Jim Bowden has been a busy man Thursday night. First, he tweeted that the Yankees and San Diego Padres were discussing a deal centering on pitcher Ian Kennedy, in exchange for prospects Ian Clarkin and Eric Jagielo. Now, the Colorado Rockies are supposedly getting involved in trade discussions with the Yankees as well. This deal would center around pitcher Jorge De La Rosa. Somewhere, Yanks Go Yard senior writer Ricky Keeler is jumping for joy!

Bowden, the former GM and current ESPN Insider and radio host on Sirius/XM radio, hasn’t always been accurate with many of his rumored reports, as Jon Heyman and Chris Cotillo quickly shot down the Kennedy report. Bowden didn’t mention any Yankees’ prospects in the De La Rosa deal, nor has Heyman or Cotillo commented on this report.
