Yankees-Red Sox (4/20-4/22) Podcast Preview

The rivalry is renewed today as the 7-6 Yankees travel to Fenway Park to take on the 4-8 Boston Red Sox. The Bombers were able to salvage a split of the Minnesota Twins last night due in large part to the three homer night by Curtis Granderson. The Yankees will need all their big bats to click in this series. We all know in Yankees-Red Sox that stats and records go out the window because anything goes in the usual five hour marathon nine inning games these two teams play. These matchups on paper appear to be high scoring affairs, but you never know. Will today be any different since the Red Sox are celebrating the 100th year anniversary of their ballpark.

For this podcast, I was able to get in touch with Derek Stykalo from the popular BoSoxInjection.com to discuss all things Red Sox. We breakdown all the pitching matchups, give our similar picks for the series, and look at the state of both the Bombers and the Bo Sox. Hope you enjoy!
