32nd overall: Cito Culver. He’s a pitcher, but the Yanks drafted him as a SS. Switch hitter, throws right. I’ve never heard of him, but here’s LoHud’s scouting report on him. Kind of a weird choice as a first rounder, but I think the Yanks took a SS in the first round once before…

Before you start bitching about who they should have taken in the first round of wherever, keep in mind that most of these guys will probably never get to play in pinstripes and most will be dealt as part of a trade. That’s why I don’t pay attention to the MLB Draft. It sure as hell ain’t the NFL or NBA Draft.
