Ain’t life Grandy?

I can’t wait for the Yanks to get Curtis Granderson back tonight. Apparently, neither can their offense.

Not only will he inject some much-needed life into the lineup but his presence means no more Winn/Thames/Russo/etc. in the outfield. That’s something to write home about.

The Yanks have dropped six of their last nine games and averaged 2.5 runs over their last six tilts, although they are 3-3 over that span. What’s really amazing is that the Good Guys have scored 27 runs over last six setbacks, and managed just six runs over their last three wins. Solve that riddle.

Here are the pitching matchups for the weekend set against the Tribe:

  1. Friday: RHP Hughes (5-1 2.72 ERA) vs. RHP Fausto Carmona (4-2 3.45 ERA)
  2. Saturday: LHP CC (4-3 3.86 ERA) vs. LHP David Huff (2-6 5.25 ERA)
  3. Sunday: RHP AJ (5-2 3.55 ERA) vs. RHP Justin Masterson (0-5 6.13 ERA)
  4. Monday: LHP Pettitte (6-1 2.62) vs. RHP Mitch Talbot (6-3 3.73)

Other Yankee news:

First the Yanks will take four of four from the Indians this weekend, then the Knickerbockers will take LeBron from the Cavs. Who’s with me?

LET’S GO YANKS!!!
