AA Trenton Thunder (11-12)

The Trenton Thunder continued to struggle this week, as their lone win came in an 18 inning affair with Tyler Dugas picking up the win. It was the second longest game in Thunder history, but despite their late inning heroics, their 11-12 record has them under .500 and in fourth place in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League.

Batter of the week: Eric Jagielo (.268, 4 Hrs, 16 RBIs)

Eric Jagielo picked up six hits including a homer and four RBI’s this week. After this weeks performance, he currently leads the team in OPS and RBIs.

Honorable Mention:  Aaron Judge (.319, 4 Hrs, 12 RBI)

Judge continues to lead the team in hitting, picking up nine hits this week including one home run and four RBIs.

Pitcher of the Week: Nick Goody (0-0, 1.38 ERA, 19 Ks)

Goody continues to be solid out of the bullpen. This week he pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless baseball across three appearances. He scattered one hit while striking out five.

Honorable Mention: Luis Severino (1-1, 2.25 ERA, 26 Ks)

Severino picked up a no decision this week, tossing five strong innings, giving up six hits and a run, but still managed to strike out six. The Thunder could only muster two hits and one run the entire evening… talk about no run support.
