Players To Watch

An obvious player to watch tonight on the White Sox’ side, is rookie phenom, Jose Abreu. Abreu is the leading candidate to win the AL Rookie of the Year award, as he has burst onto the scene this year. He has been a power hitting machine, and comes into this game tied for the league lead in homers. Yankees pitchers are going to have to be very careful with him, especially seeing as Yankee Stadium is a hitter’s ballpark.

One guy to watch on the Yankees’ side, is Jacoby Ellsbury, who, after another long slump, finally seems to be coming out of it. Also, in sixteen career at-bats against Danks, Ellsbury is batting .429, so look for him to potentially do some damage tonight. Another guy to watch out for, is Martin Prado. Prado struggled initially after being acquired by the Diamondbacks at the trade deadline, but has since gone on a tear at the plate, while also showing off superb defensive ability at second. Look for him to continue his hot streak.
