Prediction: Yankees win 2-0
Between these two dominant starters, it doesn’t look like there will be a lot of loud noise at the dish. One team is going to jump out in front early in the game, which I believe will be the Yankees. Suzuki is going to have a big day at the plate against Smyly, and the Yankees will be able to push across a couple runs to get by this game.
Greene will have another strong start, and will be putting up some big numbers in the strike out category. He may run into trouble in a couple innings of the game, in terms of having a couple runners on base. However, just like he usually does, he will make big pitches and get out of the jams. Greene will last seven plus innings, and Dellin Betances and David Robertson will take control of the game from there to nail down the victory.
