Staten Island Yankees (30-29) defeated the Connecticut Tigers (31-29) 5-2.
Jonathan Holder and Andury Acevedo combined for six scoreless innings as the SI Yankees once again cracked the .500 mark on the season and stayed in the Wild Card hunt.
