Let&#8217;s say for the sake of argument that it is possible for Verlander to become a Yankee. Would signing Verlander be worth the giving up of draft picks and money? Is a long-term deal with someone like Verlander a possibility in New York?</p>

The bullpen also held its own as the New York Yankees end their West Coast trip with a 4-2 record. Now, they will finish up their road trip with a visit to Comerica Park against the struggling Detroit Tigers (24-27)</p>
