In August they took an amazing road trip to follow the Yankees all over the Midwest, and took in 26 MLB games in just 31 days. Along the way, 10-year old Haley was able to sit down with Curtis Granderson for an interview. Haley hopes to pursue a career in journalism, and her discussion with Curtis Granderson was her first interview. Haley and her family were kind enough to share the conversation with us, and the full text is below.

Why they invited me, I have no idea. However, I’m the last person to look a gift horse in the mouth.

He was an affable guy and very well-spoken (though he did stutter a bit). Tommy was cracking jokes and keeping it light-hearted the whole time. I thought he’d be a cranky old man, though he was anything but. If I didn’t know he was a former professional athlete, I never would have guessed it.
